In the logistics and assembly of wheels and tires, a variety of optical detection and inspection tasks arise that ultimately focus on two objectives:
- The identification of components, e.g. by reading vulcanized DOT weekly codes, serial numbers or QR codes.
- The quality and completeness control by checking features such as running direction, color stripes or other attributes

Our competencies lie in image capture and subsequent analysis to solve these tasks. In tire/wheel assembly, for example, we can read out week codes at the feed rate of the conveyor, eliminating the need for expensive and error-intensive manual work.
