To support its high growth rate, 4JET has extended its management team. Besides Founder and CEO Jörg Jetter , Dr. Stefan Bergfeld and Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Dirk Teppe were appointed as Authorized Officers.
Dr. Bergfeld was named CTO and will be responsible for product- and process- development, while Mr. Teppe will be responsible for manufacturing and production. Both managers held responsible positions in the company since the founding of 4JET.
Dirk Teppe
Dirk Teppe studied Mechanical Engineering at the Aachen University of Applied Sciences. He worked for a manufacturer of diode lasers and a supplier of laser welding systems for plastics, before becoming engineering manager at 4JET in 2007.
Dr. Bergfeld
Dr. Bergfeld studied Physics at the RWTH Aachen University and received his PhD at the Forschungszentrum Jülich. Since 2002 Dr. Bergfeld is working on development of laser processes and laser systems for surface treatment. He will graduate from his MBA course in fall 2011.
