| Photovoltaic & Glass, Trade Shows, 4JET microtech 4JET presents Laser Solutions for Drilling and Cutting of Glass
4JET Technologies GmbH (Alsdorf, Germany) is now also supplying to manufacturers of display glass for mobile electronics. At Glasstec 2012 in Dusseldorf the company will present two machine platforms for processing full size mother sheets or smaller work pieces such as already individualized cover glasses.
4JET has developed process technology for the material friendly cutting and drilling of cover glasses for smart phones, tablets and notebook pc. 4JET also offers solutions for building glass, lighting and special applications.
Several laser systems for customer projects in Korea and China will be installed before the end of this year.
In the new target market 4JET benefits from its experience in supplying laser equipment to the thin-film solar and architectural glass industry: First laser drilling systems for glass were shipped to customers in the solar industry already in 2009.
For processing the different requirements 4JET is using a tool box of several machine platforms and laser processes.
